Five daily prayers
The Masjid is open for all of the five daily prayers.
Jummah – 13:20
The Sermon (Khuthba) is delivered in English to cater to the whole congregation.
During the Holy month of Ramadhan, Traweeh prayer is led by qualified Qari/Hafiz sahib.
The mosque aims to provide and promote religious education and it provides regular classes for children and adults for this purpose. Please see the education section for further details.
The Mosque also has a Ghusal facility for receiving and washing of the deceased. The mosque is a registered charity and all the work is undertaken by volunteers and there is always a need for new volunteers who have relevant experience and skills that can benefit the mosque. There is a good selection of books on Islam in English, Arabic, and Urdu as well as leaflets, booklets on various topics.
Nikah (Marriage solemnisation)
Family life is the building block of a successful society, and marriage is an occasion of great joy in the Muslim community. Boston Mosque & Islamic Centre facilitates the solemnisation of an Islamic contract of marriage.
